Boresha Mavuno Agritech is proud to announce that it has secured seed funding from the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) through the IYBA WE4A 2024 Program, a prestigious initiative designed to empower African entrepreneurs driving innovation in key sectors. This funding serves as a catalyst for Boresha Mavuno Agritech’s growth, enabling the company to expand its climate-smart agriculture solutions, agro-processing services, and waste-to-value initiatives.
The IYBA WE4A (Investing in Young Businesses in Africa – Women Entrepreneurship for Africa) program, backed by the European Union (EU), the German Development Cooperation (BMZ), and the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), is committed to supporting high-potential startups led by young African entrepreneurs. With this funding, we are actively engaging farming communities to refine our digital platform, integrate financial solutions, and implement cutting-edge agroprocessing and waste-to-value projects.
By securing this funding, Boresha Mavuno Agritech strengthens its position as a key player in Africa’s Agritech space, demonstrating its commitment to transforming the agricultural landscape and improving livelihoods for smallholder and commercial farmers alike.
